Daido internal gear pumps SE-Series are suitable series for new age, borne from research and development works exerted for a long time, based on G-series which is noted for numerous supply records to chemical and other industries. New construction with Taocloid gears derived from our own development program demonstrates, from functional point of view, superb performance and capability for general purpose application.

 

■FEATURES

Outstanding performance
Daido Taocloid gear pumps have succeeded in reducing discharge fluctuation, vibration and noise at higher revolution to such the extent as to supersede concept of gear pumps thanks to minimum sliding of two mating gear surfaces and closure effect. Higher running speed and wider range of discharge flow than G-series are attained.

Logical design
Application of one bearing and one metal system achieves compact pump assembly. Supporting structure of pump assembly by casing legs bears larger piping load.(Mechanical seal pumps are without metal but double bearing type)

Outstanding durability
Natural gear mating minimizes rotation load and extend longer service life cycle of wet components. By selecting pertinent material of pinion, water and water containing solution, which used to be difficult to handle with conventional type, are transferable with taocloid gear.

Easy maintenance
Pump rotating assembly can be dismounted without removal of piping connection, thanks to back pull-out system. It is actually not necessary to replenish grease with exterior bearing, because of grease enclosed leak proof type.

Compliance with various piping layout
As you may select any of two different arrangements of positioning discharge port in relation with suction port, i.e., V model(Vertical by 90°) and H model(Horizontal), pumps are compatible with various piping layout.

■THEORY OF FUNCTION

When gear, which is a driving gear, rotates anticlockwise, pinion, which is a driven gear, is rotated in the same direction by gear mating. The center of the pinion is eccentric to the center of gear and a crescent partition occupies the space between the gear and the pinion.
The gear rotates outside and the pinion rotates inside of the crescent and transfer the fluid flooded in the gear teeth space to discharge port. When the gear rotates, in the reverse direction(clockwise), the fluid flows in the reverse direction namely, the suction port becomes discharge port and discharge port becomes suction port. Except for reverse flow direction, the pump maintain the same function in this case.

#1 Gear and pinion teeth are in perfect mesh, which prevents the reverse flow from discharge side to suction side.
#2 As the gear and pinion teeth begin to disengage, fluid is drawn into and floods the space between the gear and pinion teeth.
#3 Fluid flooded in the space between the gear and pinion teeth is displaced to discharge port by gear rotation.
#4 As the gear and pinion teeth begin to mesh again, fluids pressurized and forced out the discharge port.
